Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 08 October 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, training modules, workshops, and related digital materials offered by celebcircleki through our website. The policy covers specialised instruction in live production decks, control rooms, multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. It extends to both one-time course purchases and any recurring subscription options for ongoing access to updated materials or live sessions. All transactions are processed under the laws of the United Kingdom, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All listed prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges may arise for optional extras such as printed workbooks, certification fees, or extended access periods beyond the standard course duration. These extras are clearly itemised before checkout. Currency conversion fees applied by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not included in our pricing. We reserve the right to adjust prices for new enrolments, but existing bookings remain at the confirmed rate.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and selected digital wallets. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. For subscriptions, recurring charges occur automatically on the billing date using the stored payment method. All transactions are secured through encrypted payment gateways compliant with PCI DSS standards. We do not store full card details on our servers. Authorisation may be declined due to insufficient funds, expired cards, or suspected fraud; in such cases, the order will not proceed until resolved.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation containing order details, access instructions, and a summary of terms. A binding contract forms only after we send this confirmation. Until then, no obligation exists on either side. Course access credentials are issued within one business day of confirmation. You must review all details in the confirmation email immediately and contact us if any discrepancies appear.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under UK law, consumers generally have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which you may cancel without providing a reason. For digital content such as our video modules and live session recordings, this right is lost once you begin downloading or streaming the material. Live workshops and in-person sessions may be cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund of fees paid, subject to availability of alternative dates. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle to avoid further charges.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available for cancellations within the cooling-off period where no substantial content has been accessed. Exclusions include materials already downloaded, attended live sessions, or any personalised coaching elements. Non-refundable items also encompass promotional bundles where the discount was conditional on full participation. If you have completed more than 20 percent of a course, refunds are limited to the unused portion at our discretion. We do not refund fees for changes of mind after the cooling-off period or after you have received certification.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of the reason. Include any supporting evidence such as screenshots of access issues. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limit. We acknowledge receipt within two business days and may ask for additional information. You can also reach us by phone at 01494 671234 or by post at National Film and Television School, Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 1LG if email is unavailable.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification

Our team reviews each request within five business days. We assess eligibility based on access logs, payment records, and the circumstances described. Approval results in immediate processing; rejection includes a written explanation citing the specific policy clause. You may appeal a rejection once by providing new information within seven days of notification. Final decisions rest with celebcircleki after considering all facts.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten business days, though bank processing times vary. Bank transfers may take up to fourteen days. Subscription cancellations stop future billing immediately but do not retroactively refund prior periods. You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers

Digital course content is supplied electronically, and the 14-day cancellation right ends upon commencement of download or streaming. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you must manage cancellations through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Promotional offers such as early-bird pricing or bundle discounts are non-refundable once the promotional period has ended or content has been accessed. We provide clear pre-purchase information about these limitations.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments result in suspension of access until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated promptly; any overpayment is refunded automatically. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to permanent account restrictions if found unjustified. We monitor transactions for fraud indicators and may delay processing or request verification. Suspected fraudulent activity can result in immediate cancellation without refund.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom

This policy does not exclude or limit your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You retain the right to claim compensation for faulty digital content or services that do not meet reasonable expectations. Any term attempting to waive these rights is void. For disputes, you may contact Citizens Advice or pursue claims through the small claims track of the County Court.
